- 1 Package Brie It doesn't have to be triple cream goat brie. It can be regular should you so wish.
- 1 Small Jar Preserves, Jams, Jellies, Confections, etc. It doesn't have to be raspberry and rose either! But, this was a nice find as it seemed to fit very well for Valentine's Day. If you search on the Internet, you'll find a lot of brands with this particular flavor though. Also, the particular type used was technically a fruit preserve.
- 1 Whole Egg This is for the egg wash.
- 1 Bucket Your favorite Bucket of Bread Brand Dough The Traditional White is used in this recipe.
Follow the basic instructions from the Bucket of Bread brand baking kit.
For this one, simply form a large boule. While this rests, let the oven preheat to 450F.
Score it.
Add a step and apply an egg wash. To make an egg wash simply whisk together an egg with about a tablespoon of water.
Now Let's Start Giving Our Creation Some Love for our Raspberry Rose Baked Brie Loaf
Once it is baked, let it cool and saw the top off.
Once you have it out of the oven and cooled with the top sawn off, cut down individual wedges as shown. Cut to about 1/4 of an inch from the bottom so that the pieces are easily able to be torn away.
Place the Brie in the center of your wedges and cut around the circular shape.
Dig out the cut area and insert the Brie.
Cut the "lid" from the loaf into sticks and with the pieces from the middle, place them onto a parchment lined cooking sheet.
Love is a Sweet Kind of Romance...
Place heaping amounts of your preserves, jams, jellies, confections, etc. and add this to the cooking sheet.
Bake again hot at 450F for about another 20 minutes or until the cheese is hot and gooey.
The bread strips will become toasted and crunchy!
Share and Enjoy the Romance!
