Holiday Raspberry Bread Wreath

Bucket of Bread
A festive, bakery-style centerpiece made with simple ingredients and one batch of Bucket of Bread dough. Soft layers, bright raspberry filling, and just enough spice to feel like the holidays.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Kit Your favorite Bucket of Bread Brand Dough We used the Traditional White
  • Cups Raspberry jam Your favorite. You can use less if you desire.
  • 3 Tbsp Ground cinnamon Just make sure it covers the area of your dough
  • ½ Tbsp Nutmeg This can be strong. Don't use too much in relation to cinnamon. If you like the flavor, feel free to use more though.
  • 2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar Just dust your final product.
  • 7-10 berries Fresh Raspberries These are a garnish
  • ½ cup Crushed pistachios This is OPTIONAL - we didn't use them.

Instructions
 

Reserve a Little Baking Kit Dry Mix

  • Set aside about 1 tablespoon of the dry mix from your Bucket of Bread kit to use when rolling the dough.

Make the Dough

  • Prepare the dough according to package instructions (boxed or bucket kits).

Chill the Wreath Dough

  • Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes. This firms it up for easier rolling.

Prep the Surface

  • Sprinkle the reserved dry mix on a clean countertop. Roll out the dough, flipping occasionally to prevent sticking. Add more flour if needed.

Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat to 375°F.
    Use Parchment Paper Carefully!

Roll and Add Dry Ingredients

  • Roll the dough.

  • Try for a rectangle - we were close!

  • Sprinkle cinnamon evenly, then lightly sprinkle nutmeg.

Add Jam

  • Spread raspberry jam evenly over the dough.

Roll into a Log

  • Starting from the long edge, roll the dough tightly like a cinnamon roll.

Slice and Twist

  • Cut the log lengthwise down the center.

  • Twist the two pieces together with the cut sides facing up.

Form the Raspberry Swirl Bread Wreath

  • Shape the twisted dough into a circle. Connect the ends to complete the wreath.

Transfer the Raspberry Swirl Bread Wreath to a Baking Sheet

  • Carefully move the wreath onto parchment paper or a silicone mat on a baking sheet. Adjust the shape as needed.

Egg Wash

  • Lightly brush the wreath with beaten egg and a splash of water.

Bake

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Finish and Garnish

  • Transfer to a serving platter. Dust lightly with powdered sugar to highlight the layers. Garnish with fresh raspberries and optionally crushed pistachios.
