Halloween Spider Pie?
Steeped in mythology and folklore, bats and rats have frightened people throughout history but, what about spiders? According to pest professionals, the days leading up to Halloween are highly active with spiders, rats and mice. “This is a critical time of year for the so-called creatures of the night, as they try to enter your home in search of a safe and warm winter haven.
The main reason behind spiders being a symbol of Halloween is their connection with witches. Spiders, along with black cats and rats were believed to be evil companions of witches in medieval times.
Green and black olives are the perfect topping for pizzas because you can make creepy spiders with them.

During the medieval period it was thought that if someone saw a spider on Hallows Eve it was the spirit of a dead loved one watching over them.
Spider Pie
Bucket of BreadEquipment
- 1 Pizza pan
Ingredients
- 300 gram Bucket of Bread Brand Traditional White Dough Mix
- 1 handful Olives Black, Green, or both (pitted)
- 3 oz String Cheese Or, cut fresh Mozzarella into strips
Instructions
- Use your favorite way to make pizza with Bucket of Bread brand dough mixes.300 gram Bucket of Bread Brand Traditional White Dough Mix
- Cut the olives to look like spiders as in this pic. Maybe add some mozzarella to emphasize a web.1 handful Olives, 3 oz String Cheese
- Bake until creepy!
