Chocolate Hazelnut Dream Dessert
Bucket of BreadIngredients
- 250 gram Bucket of Bread, Traditional White This is about a handful.
- 1 Tbsp Hazelnut and Cocoa Spread Nutella or an organic ingredient option.
- 1 tsp Powdered Sugar Also known as confectioner's sugar. Yes! Powdered sugar, confectioners' sugar (including confectioners sugar and confectioner's sugar too), icing sugar, and 10X (a reference to the size of the particles) are all the same.
- 1 egg This is for the egg wash.
Instructions
- After having created your bucket of dough from Bucket of Bread, gather the rest of your ingredients together.
- Take a handful or around 250 grams should you want to use a scale.
- Roll out a nice sheet at about 1/4 inch thick.
- Trim the edges making a nice rectangle.
- Place the trimmings back into the bucket or bake them with this as an extra something to nibble.
- Use something sharp to cut strips into 1 end of the rectangle. Go about 1/3 of the way up.
- Add some hazelnut cocoa spread. Go about 1/3 the way down leaving a space between the strips of dough and the end of the spread.
- Gently pull up the top edge of the dough and fold it onto the spread.
- Start a tight rolling of the edge over itself.
- Keep rolling until coming to the strips. Spread the strips out gently.
- Continue rolling over the spread out strips.
- Tuck and fold any loose ends. The roll is about 1 - 1½ and a half inches in diameter.
- Transfer the roll to a parchment lined cooking sheet.
- Use an egg wash on the strips.
- Bake at 450F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer to a cooling rack.
- Sprinkle a generous dusting of powdered sugar.
- Slice up, serve pretty, and enjoy!
