Fundraising Participation Policy and Donation Request Form

At Bucket of Bread, we believe in baking with purpose—and our participation in fundraising events through donations reflects that. Our mission focuses on spreading kindness, encouraging creativity in the kitchen, and fighting food insecurity. As a Veteran-owned and operated business, we also prioritize support for communities and organizations that serve others with integrity and compassion.

We receive many requests for donations and sponsorships throughout the year. This policy outlines the types of support we offer, our giving priorities, and how organizations can submit requests for consideration.

Giving Priorities

We prioritize donation and sponsorship requests from:

Nonprofits focused on food insecurity and hunger relief
Organizations that serve Veterans and military families
Local initiatives in Wisconsin
Schools, community fundraisers, and events that promote kindness and creativity through food

Types of Support We Offer

Depending on the alignment with our mission and available resources, we may offer:

In-kind product donations (e.g., baking kits, bundles for raffles or auctions)
Discounted product for qualifying fundraising events
Limited event sponsorships
Occasional social media support for approved causes

Request Timeline and Review Process

To be considered, all requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event date.

Once submitted, please allow up to 10 business days for review. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. We will contact you if your request is approved or if additional information is needed.

We review requests regularly and respond based on available resources and alignment with our mission.

Limitations

We generally do not support:

Political campaigns or partisan organizations
For-profit events or causes unrelated to food, community service, or charitable impact
Requests that do not align with our values or capacity
