- 1 A slotted spoon is helpful once the boiling happens.
- 1 Air Fryer
- Then, make sure you have some parchment for the Air Fryer.
Ingredients
Make The Dough
- Your favorite Bucket of Bread Brand Dough We used Traditional White and a stand mixer.
- 1¼ Cup Lukewarm Water Use this per flour blend bag. This is a slightly less amount of water than the normal instructions on the box or bucket.
Cooking of the Air Fryer Pretzel Bites
- 10 Cups Boiling Water
- 1 Cup Baking Soda
Egg Wash
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbsp Cold Water
- 1 Tbsp Course Salt
Instructions
Prepare for the Air Fryer Pretzel Bites
- Get your Bucket of Bread brand Baking Kits ready.
Make The Dough
- You can either mix the big bag and the little bag in the bucket or in a bowl or do what we do and throw it all in a stand mixer for extra easiness.
- Add about 1¼ Cups of water. The instructions tell you to use 1½ Cups but you want this a bit more pliable for making your bites.
- Make sure there is nothing dry left.
- Get the ball of soon to be dough into the bucket.
- Rest the lid on the bucket and let it rise for about 2-3 hours.
Make the Air Fryer Pretzel Bites
- Start boiling about 10 Cups of water with 1 Cup of Baking Soda (NOT baking powder).
- Roll out some dough ropes.
- Cut them up into about 1 inch long bites.
- Add them to the baking soda and boiling water pot.
- Let them boil for no more than a minute.
Coat the Air Fryer Pretzel Bites with Egg Wash
- Get the bites into the mixing bowl with the egg and water beaten together. Stir the Air Fryer Pretzel Bites around until they are covered with egg wash.
- Move the Pretzel Bites to a plate.
- Salt liberally with the course grain salt. The egg wash will help it stick.

- Place some parchment paper into the air fryer basket.
